I love doing creative shoots for clients and I was so happy when I spoke to Michelle about doing her 10th anniversary Rock the Dress Session. Michelle and Matthew are big horror and Halloween fans and I knew that we would have a lot of fun incorporating this into their session. We spent some time together to concept their session and then pulled in the creative muscle Laura from Gathered Events to make this real.
Working with Laura we selected The Highland Manor located in Apopka, Florida for this spooky session. For those of you who don’t know, Highland Manor is a historic home on 11 acres. The site is beautiful and many weddings take place their each year. They have an incredible lush forest on their property and that’s where we set the stage. Laura gathered her inspiration from Tim Burton and some antique Gothic decor, creating what she likes to call “Living meets the Dead…”.
I hope you enjoy this special Halloween feature!

I just love how lush the forest area is and the trees line up perfectly into a green covered canopy.
The white rustic farm table and benches from A Chair Affair were an awesome touch for this set-up. I loved it!
