When Heidi contacted me about taking photos for her grandparents for their 60th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal I had the feeling it was going to be a special occasion for all involved. After a few months of chatting back and forth from Australia (where Heidi lives) the day finally came when I got to meet LaDonna and Jack. The whole family was so sweet and welcoming when we arrived and it was evident that after 60 years of marriage Jack and LaDonna still have “it”.
At the private beachfront condo in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, the day was perfect. As the ceremony got started they were blessed with a beautiful rainbow and bright blue skies over the ocean.
In a world where people often take marriage for granted I had a glimpse of what lasting love looks like and it felt great to be around these two!
