Laura and Shannon opened their beautiful Baldwin Park home to celebrate the birth of baby Ashley with a lifestyle newborn photography session.

The house was so light and bright which made for some beautiful and dreamy images.There is something about the amazement on a new mother and father’s face. Even baby Ashley tried to get a little smile in!Those lips and eyes are so stinkin cute! Baby Ashley was closer to four months old during his lifestyle newborn session. This allowed both mom and dad to interact a bit more with their new son. He was so alert and engaged almost the whole time I was there.A visit to Ashely’s nursery was a great chance to document the sweet things that mom and dad picked out for their new baby boy. From soft squishy bunnies to favorite books and artwork that reflects their style.

I am a big fan of the gray and white nursery with pops of yellow and blue. It was both calming and dreamy.Laura wanted to document the sweet moments of nursing her new baby boy. The time is short and sweet and will be cherished forever with this new mom.Real baby smiles and laughs melt my heart!This is one of my favorite moments to capture, a new father gazing at this new little life he helped to create.
