When I met Rachael we really clicked; she’s a sweet person, an amazing mother and I am sure she will be a great wife to Eric. She told me about her plans to get married on the beachfront at Paradise Cove in Orlando, Florida. She envisioned shades of pink with touches of burlap, lace and a few more rustic touches.

On their wedding day everything was perfect from the blue skies to the perfectly designed details to the love that was evident in their eyes as they did their first look and as they stood together at the altar to say their I Do’s. You could also feel the love of their friends and family as they shared this special day with Rachael & Eric.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of this amazing day ~ I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness.

First I have to say I love my job. Not everyone gets to share in the joys and milestones of so many peoples lives, but as a photographer that is exactly what I do. I capture the moments that mean so much to so many and I am thankful for this opportunity that I have been given 🙂

I had a great time photographing an engagement party for an amazing couple from Chicago. They flew down to celebrate their engagement with friends, family and neighbors in Orlando before they say their I do’s. Here are a few of the details of their special day. The yummy food was catered by Fish on Fire.

Congratulations J & D, I wish you a long and happy marriage <3

I had the pleasure of working with Laura from Gathered Events, LLC in March. This 60th birthday party in the trendy College Park area of Orlando was styled in a very earthy and natural tones and decor, from burlap to lush greens.

After seeing her hard at work and then having the opportunity to capture the beautiful details she designed and made come to life I had to ask, “What led you to designing events?”

Laura: I have always been a crafter. Since I can remember, I was the little girl who would rather play with beads and glitter glue than watch TV. Even when it wasn’t cool, I was crafting. Making accessories, embellishing my bedroom furniture, mixing my own nail polish. I started my button collection at the age of 6 with a special pair made of glittery clear plastic. My 6-yr-old eyes almost exploded when I found them. I quickly added the prettiest flowery buttons I could find… and a crafting collector was born. Since then, I’ve added to my buttons with a whole room-sized hoard of fabrics, yarns, tools, machines, & all kinds of antique-shop pretties.

Gathered Events combines all of my loves into one creative studio filled with style, design, and plenty of handmade lovelies. We create one-of-a-kind experiences for our clients, giving them parties that are more beautiful than they could ever dream of!

I hope you enjoy the beautiful event set-up. I am sure you will be seeing more amazing things from Gathered Events in  the near future!
